Convenience store lottery management software

Instant tickets are cash sitting in a bin, and they're the one part of a convenience store still counted by hand every night. Neo Office keeps lottery books, activations, daily counts and settlement in your back office software, right next to store sales and till settlement, so the numbers add up together.

Books that were activated and never sold

An activated book is money you owe the state whether the tickets move or not. Neo Office lists every book by Game and Book number, when it was activated, and what is still sitting in the bin.

A count that lives on a clipboard

The closing count gets written on paper, then typed in again, or never typed in at all. Enter the last ticket sold once, on the phone at the bin, and the count is done.

Net due that only shows up on invoice day

Sales, payouts, commission and net due should not be a surprise when the state's invoice arrives. Neo Office keeps a running settlement, so you know what you owe before the sweep hits your bank.

Lottery, counted with the rest of the store

What a c-store or gas station needs to track instant tickets, without buying a second system for it.

Lottery books and games

Every book you have received, by Game and Book number, with its status. New books go in as they arrive, so the bin and the screen agree.

Activation and next sellable ticket

Activate a book when it goes into the bin and Neo Office keeps the next sellable ticket for you. Nobody has to remember which slot held which game.

The daily count, done at the bin

Count once, at closing, from the phone. Yesterday's numbers roll forward, so the count is the last ticket sold in each open book and nothing else.

Settlement, net due and payouts

Gross lottery sales, payouts and commission add up to net due, by day and by week, ready to check against the state's invoice.

Shrink you can point at

When a book is short you see which book, which day and which shift, instead of a number that will not balance at month end. Our guide to convenience store lottery management on the blog walks through the count itself.

Beside your store sales, not in a second system

Lottery cash sits in the same drawer as store cash, so it belongs in the same back office system. Lottery reads next to Inside sales, Fuel and Total sales, and it settles with Till Settlement.
